This policy explains what information Quartier's Designs collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. What we collect
What you send us. When you use the consultation form, we receive your name, phone number, email address, property location, when you're hoping to build, and anything you write about your yard. If you email or call us, we receive whatever you choose to share.
What your browser sends automatically. Like most websites, our server records basic technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time. We use these records to keep the site secure and working.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors come from. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information about your device and browsing on this site. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Fonts and reviews. The site's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to fetch them. The Google reviews shown on the home page are fetched by our server from Google; showing them doesn't place any additional cookies on your device.
How we use it
- To reply to you, schedule a consultation and prepare a design proposal.
- To carry out a design agreement with you, including sending drawings, invoices and updates.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We share it only in these cases:
- Service providers that run parts of our business for us: website hosting (Microsoft Azure), delivery of form messages by email (Twilio SendGrid), our email (Google Workspace) and analytics (Google Analytics). They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
- Builders, with your permission. If you ask us to introduce you to builders from our referral network, we share your contact details and project information with the builders you agree to.
- When the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
How long we keep it
We keep consultation requests and project records for as long as we need them to work with you, and afterward as long as required for our business, tax and legal records. Design files are kept for one year after delivery, as described in our design agreement. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we'll do so unless we're required to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask for a copy. Email office@quartiers-design.com and we'll respond within 30 days. Colorado residents have rights under the Colorado Privacy Act; we honor these requests from everyone, wherever you live. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Children
This site is meant for adults planning work on their property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
The site is served only over an encrypted connection, and form messages are sent by email to our office. No method of sending or storing information is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
