A stone water wall, clipped evergreens and river rock along a paver terrace at the edge of open space.
The design
A paver terrace runs along the back of the house to a stacked-stone water wall, its sheet of water dropping into a basin of river rock. Rows of compact evergreens and young ornamental trees fill the mulched beds, with a river-rock border against the ranch-rail fence and the open space beyond.
